Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing project proposals, grant applications, and donor reports.
- Conduct research on funding opportunities, potential donors, and development trends.
- Prepare concept notes, case studies, and success stories for advocacy and fundraising purposes.
- Maintain donor databases and assist in stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.
- Assist in organizing fundraising events, networking sessions, and donor meetings.
- Assist in preparing project reports and conducting field monitoring as required.
- Assist in conducting and facilitating various assessments, surveys, workshops, awareness events, inception meetings, and coordination meetings at the ground level.
- Assist in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities, including data collection, analysis, and report writing for research initiatives.
- Assist in preparing research articles as required by the Principal Investigator and the study team.
- Assist Head of Business Development, Research & Fundraising Cell to implement research projects, and research for fundraising.
- Regularly conduct field visits, provide guidance, supervision, and technical support to project staff.
- Regularly attend organizational and project meetings for updates and knowledge-sharing.
Academic Qualification:
Master’s degree from a public university (preferably in Social Science, Development Studies, Economics, Geography & Environmental Science, Environmental Science, Disaster Management, or other relevant subjects).
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in research, proposal writing, or fundraising in NGOs or development organizations will be given preference (at least 1 year in a similar context).
Applicants should have experience in the following sector(s):

Additional Requirements:
Must proficiency in written and oral communication in both English and Bengali.
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of donor agencies, funding trends, and proposal development.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Commitment to ethical considerations in social and biophysical research, ensuring no harm is caused.
Respect for gender equality, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), safeguarding policies, the code of conduct, and cultural diversity.
Strong motivation and willingness to serve the project at the ground level (rural coastal areas).
Ability to operate virtual platforms such as Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Salary: BDT 20,000.00
