Job Description / Responsibility:

Conduct survey, Data Collection & Verification:

• Conduct survey for beneficiaries selection;
• Oversee the validation and verification of data received from community-level actors;
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of data from Upazila level offices/sub project sites;

Database Management:

• Develop, maintain, and update databases for tracking beneficiaries, project progress, payments, and other relevant indicators;
• Ensure data input into designated MIS;
• Ensure data integrity and security in line with Shushilan`s guideline.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Generate routine and ad-hoc reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly) on program activities, progress, and beneficiary status for internal and external stakeholders;
• Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes through real-time data availability and analysis.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to field staff and Union-level data entry operators on data entry, data management tools, and the use of MIS platforms;
• Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate with the MIS team or software developers for resolution.

Capacity Building:

• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to local government officials and project staff on data entry protocols, database use, and quality assurance.

Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with program teams, Shushilan`s M&E unit, and Union-level committees to ensure data-driven decision-making;
• Work with Team Leader (TL)/Deputy Chief Executive (DCE);
• Liaise with the central MIS team to align local data activities with national systems.

Innovation & Improvement:

• Identify gaps in the current data management system and recommend improvements;
• Support the adoption of digital tools and mobile-based data collection systems (e.g KOBO Tool) where feasible.

Educational Requirements: Four (04) years Bachelor Degree & Master`s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from a reputed University

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 05 years working experiences as Data Management Specialist in any development sector. The applicant should have experience in Web Development, Cloud ERP System; Software Development Experience will be given preference.

Additional Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, MS Access), Excel, and MIS platforms;
• Experience with GIS, mobile data collection tools (ODK/KoBo Toolbox), or dashboard software (e.g., Power BI) is a plus;
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Team building capacity
• Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities
• Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
• Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding and cultural diversity
• Able to operate virtual communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Ability to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license
