Job Description / Responsibility

• Provide database management and technical support to the implementation of Climate Risk Insurance and Anticipatory Action projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain project databases using platforms such as MS Access, Excel, or other MIS tools.
• Integrate multi-sectoral data from various platforms into a central, accessible system.
• Ensure secure storage, backup, and retrieval of all project data and documents.
• Validate, clean, and analyze data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate statistical reports, Assessment reports, dashboards, and visualizations for management and donor reporting.
• Regularly update beneficiary records and project progress in the MIS.
• Coordinate with IT and data management teams for database enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Support the development of digital data collection forms (e.g., KoboToolbox, MoDA) and ensure smooth data flow from field to central database.
• Provide training and technical support to field teams on data collection, monitoring tools, and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities and verify data accuracy.
• Track project indicators against the log frame and report on progress, achievements, and challenges.
• Collect qualitative and quantitative data regularly, including situation reporting, success stories and lessons learned.
• Conduct, collect CBT related data information and prepared PDM report.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all project-related information.

Educational Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor degree (Preferable Statistics/Information management/Agricultural science)

Experience Requirements: At least 03years working experience in Information management, beneficiaries database management, Kobo tools box and ODK.

Additional Job Requirements

• Knowledge on relational database systems, documentation and reporting tools and techniques.
• Have data analytical skill
• Have knowledge on statistical analysis of data using SPSS/other statistical package.
• Computer knowledge on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, power point and capable to use Internet
• Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
• All kind of positive motivation to support and response in emergency
• Experience in working as part of a team
• Willing to work with partially flexible work hours
• Able to operate virtual platform like Zoom/Team etc.
• Able to ride motorcycle with valid driving license

Salary:  BDT 45,000 to 50,000 per month
