Job Description / Responsibility

S/he is the key person of the project implementation at respective Upazila level and reportable to Project Coordinator of Shushilan. S/he will be responsible for managing Upazila team and implementation of planned activities. S/he will be taking the lead to control all resources under the guidance of Project Coordinator.

Key responsibilities are:

• Provide Technical services on Agriculture to the targeted farmers
• Planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring the upazila level activities.
• Liaison with Upazila officials, NGOs, the private sector and other disaster stakeholders.
• Ensure integration with food security, livelihood, DRR& CCA activities.
• Ensure the project plan & implementation at ward, union and upazila level.
• Develop and build the capacity of different community groups.
• Supervise the Field Facilitator at his/her disposal.
• Attend upazila/district coordination meetings and another networking meeting at the upazila/district level.
• Conduct different assessments, surveys, meetings, and workshop
• Actively coordinate and communicate with different service providers, entrepreneurs, market actors, public & private partners like RIMS, and financial institutes.
• Guide, coach, mentor, supervise, and appraise the FF
• Ensure quantitative & qualitative work at the field level.
• Facilitate to organize training, monthly meetings, and quarterly review meetings of the project

Educational Requirements:

Master’s in Agriculture, but agricultural subject may be relaxed for Female and relevant experienced candidates.

Experience Requirements: At least 3 years working experience in development field.

• Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
• Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
• Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary
• Able to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license
• Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.

Salary:  BDT 63,462 per month (No  bonus)
