Assistant Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Assist to coordinate the implementation process of the project with detailed operational planning and budgeting. Time to time facilitate to communicate with project coordinator and internal programme focal. Update the required market linkage & value chain information to the respective donor focal to update and getting technical assistance when required.
  • Necessary & effective coordination with GO, LGI, NGOs, Market Actors and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist to identify potential business & market promotional service providers, input/output market actors, project partners and stakeholders holders
  • Support to build ACMC capacity and mobilize them to functional IIGA and GIGA
  • Support to the AC related production functions and coordinate with input & output actors.
  • Assist to coordinate and functionality of ACMC
  • Support to organize different meetings, workshop, day-observance into the ACMC & BNF level.
  • Link with potential service providers, input/output market actors and stakeholders and develop plans for and initiate institutional contacts and linkages. Maintain communication and follow up of AC and FFC transaction and functionality follow up for ACMC.
  • Assist to applies the M&E Framework of the project to support comprehensive and quality monitoring of the project performance at all levels following results framework
  • Prepare and follow up for all the relevant reporting and submit to the Project Coordinator along with the focal person of respective donor within time frame following the format or guideline.
  • Assist to time to time take approval of plan, line-items budget breakdown, schedule, methods, TOR etc for conducting any events from donor focal and internal program focal.  
  • Assist to follow up the project financial complains and review the expenditures for necessary approval.
  • Cooperate to ensure the project plan & implementation at ward, union and Upazila level.
  • Attend Upazila/district coordination meetings, departmental meeting, sectors/cluster meeting and other networking meetings.
  • Assist to conduct and facilitate for different assessments, surveys, workshops, days observations, inception meeting, coordination meetings at Union, Upazila or District level.
  • Regular field visit, guide, supervise and provide technical support to project staff.
  • Facilitate to organize training, monthly meetings, CP meeting, need base meetings and quarterly review meetings etc. of the project.
  • Assist, review, prepare and ensure project reporting with its quality e.g. event reports, transaction reports, sector reports, Government reports, monthly reports, quarterly reports, need base, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, completion reports etc.

Academic qualification:

Master’s Degree (Preferable in Agricultural science, URP, MDS, Economics)

Experience

  • 7 years (at least 4 years in the similar context)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    NGO

Additional Requirements

  • Team building capacity
  • Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
  • Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary
  • Able to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license
  • Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.

Salary: BDT 80,000.00
